BARBIE – the Bristol Association of Restaurants, Bars and Independent Establishments – was set up in January 2017 and has over 6,100 members in their Facebook group and over 250 official venue members at 31st January 2019. It’s been set up to give independent businesses a collective voice with the council, purchasing power as a group and networking events for the industry. Membership is £50 for the year and their main partners are A. David & Co, Matthew Clark, Gregg Latchams, Pattersons and 365Bristol.
